| A rare opportunity to acquire a unique piece of English Setter history. This mirror features an etching of Ch.Raycroft Jewel and has been in the ownership of a number of leading kennels during its life. |

Raycroft Jewel was born in 1945, winning a Field Trial certificate and CCs in 1948, 1949 & 1950, giving her full champion status. Her owner, Miss R. Lamb (Rae Furness - Raycroft) commissioned this unique mirror to celebrate her achievements.
Rae Furness then passed the mirror to Tommy Watkinson (Mawdsley English Setters), and on his death it was bequeathed to Harold Schofield (Thrumall English Setters), who displayed it for many years, during which time we understand that it was professionally restored and re-silvered. This unique item could take pride of place on the wall of any discerning English Setter owner.
The mirror measures 36" x 18", has bevelled edges and mitred corners. Please be aware that this is a heavy item. When boxed for shipment, it weighs over 15kgs. |
