Philip Stretton (British), was a premier London painter of animals, sporting subjects and genre and exhibited extensively during the period 1884 to 1904. His exhibits at the Royal Academy included Disturbed, 1884, The Apple of Discord, 1889 and The Pet of the Kennel, 1901.
