John Emms (1843-1912)
John Emms (English) is predominently known for his paintings of horses, hounds and terriers, but he also painted many other pure-bred dogs as well.
Born in Norfolk, he was the son of artist, Henry William Emms. He exhibited 290 works at the Royal Academy, the first being in 1866.
